UNIVERSE PRIME

Universe Prime (Uni-Prime) was the original, sole dimension in existance, until the opening of an ancient box-like artifact in the events of Legends of Alternica.

NOMENCLATURE

The suffix "Prime" in story titles refers to alternate versions of the story as it occurs in Uni-Prime. For instance, the events of Bloody Sword that took place in Uni-D are different than those in Bloody Sword Prime. Similarily, should Cell have an alternate story taking place in Uni-Prime, it would be named Cell Prime.

The same characters are usually different from universe to universe. For instance, if Westmore also took place in Uni-Prime, then the character of Jake Westmore would be referred to as Prime!Jake, though nobody in the story itself would call him Prime Jake (The prefix Prime! is used for informational, out-of-story purposes only, much like nobody in Ultimate Spider-Man calls Spidey himself "Ultimate Spider-Man")
